I’m not excusing any previous behaviour or supporting the monarchy. This is simply highlighting the racism brought about by an interracial relationship in the monarchy where a woman of colour has been targeted for being black. It doesn’t have anything to do with them being wealthy or attractive. To focus on that, and to detract from obvious institutionalised prejudice, effectively enables and excuses said racism.
