Agreed. As a father, I will often receive similar remarks for what it supposed to be my duty as a dad. It's actually condescending as the bar for what constitutes a good dad is seemingly so low that doing the simplest of activities is supposed to draw praise. And as you say, this typically comes from women!

We all need to normalise the equality in the lens of what good parenting is and when we praise it, regardless of gender.
